New Members – New Playground – New Teams
Yesterday was an awesome day at Fellowship Baptist Church! We welcomed five new members into our church family. It’s been a while since we’ve seen that happen, and we praise God for the work He is doing among us. This is just the beginning.
A big thank you to the men who served during our work day! Many tasks were accomplished—from power washing the north sides of both buildings and the sidewalks, to replacing lights and adding new signs inside to help guests navigate. But the biggest highlight was installing our newly donated playground set. Jackie is over the moon, and our moms and kids are thrilled!
Last night, during our business meeting, we elected new individuals to serve on our Nominating Team and Search Team. I’m especially thankful for Teresa Adams, Nancy Holman, and Kay Kohler for their faithful service on the Nominating Team. Their heart and discernment have been a great blessing to our church. They will continue to serve out their terms and help onboard the new team.
Finally, I’m excited to announce the formation of a new Missions Team at Fellowship! This team of six members will help organize and lead our mission efforts—locally, nationally, and internationally. This reflects the vision of Acts 1:8, and we’re making bold moves to create opportunities for our church to GO!
God is doing great things at Fellowship Baptist Church!
